As a research scientist, Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani works with Texas A&M University, Department of Petroleum Engineering. He worked with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the USA and Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT) at the University of Malaya in Malaysia. His main research areasare heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, catalytic reaction engineering, nanocatalyst synthesis, nanomaterials characterization, CO2 conversion, and gas process. He has spent 15 years in academic-industrial projects as a research officer and post-doctoral. He developed advanced smart catalysts, especially for the oil and gas industries. Omid has contributed to two PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd industrial catalyst projects and worked on an international Airbus R&D project in NANOCAT. He was a project member of the FRGS grant in UTP Malaysia. Omid was the Chairman, keynote speaker, and organizing committee of many international conferences. He super vised three PhD students from different countries. He has published many ISI papers; book chapters and inventor of two approved and granted international patents. Also, he has hands-on experience and passed several pieces of training on handling different types of advanced equipment which are being widely used for nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation. He is in close collaboration with other departments, government agencies, and universities worldwide. He was a visiting researcher at Jiangsu University China and Hokkaido University Japan. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a senior member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society. Omid was awarded a full fellowship from the University Technology PETRONAS during his PhD and was involved asa lab demonstrator and teaching in the different chemical engineering courses. He was awarded a Silver Medal at the 27th International Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX 2016), Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia, and a Silver Medal of Post Graduate Research Project at the 35th Science & Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX 35).

Raul Duarte Salgueiral Gomes Campilho is a permanent auxiliary professor at ISEP - School of Engineering in Porto, Portugal. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from ISEP, a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from FEUP, and a habilitation in the same field. Guoqian Chen, Professor of systems ecology and sustainability science at Peking University, China, and Distinguished Adjunct Professor in the Center of Research Excellence of Renewable Energy and Power Systems at King Abdullaziz University, Saudi Arabia. Professor Zhaosen Liu received Ph.D degree in solid state physics from TU-Dresden, Germany, in 1999. Before 2007, he proposed a few quantum approaches to investigate the roles played by the crystal-field levels and RKKY interactions, and to estimate magnetic transition temperatures of rare-earth materials. In 2008, he built a two-sublattice model to describe antiferromagnetic rare-earth systems, which solved a serious difficulty faced by many experimental physicists. Since 2010, he has been working on developing quantum computational methods to study low dimensional magnetic materials. The application of quantum theory facilitate the computing codes to tunnel through energy barriers and quickly converge to the equilibrium states of the magnetic systems. The Quantum Monte Carlo, one of his computational methods, was further optimized in 2018, so that the calculated results obtained in the final computing iteration were able to generate periodic spin configurations, for instance, of two-dimensional antiferromagnetic skyrmionic crystals, which had not been produced in simulations before. He found in simulations that both ferroeletric/antiferroelectric skyrmionic crystals were induced by ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic skyrmionic crystals respectively in 2D multiferroic materials, especially, the topological charges of ferroeletric crystals were quantized to be certain distinct values. Recently, he proposed a new computational method that incorporates quantum theory with micromagnetics, so that it is able to simulate the microscopic structures of magnetic and multiferroic materials at nonzero temperatures, which overcomes a hard theoretical difficulty existing in the field for many years.

Zonghua Wang, Taishan Scholar Distinguished Professor of nano material science and analytical chemistry at Qingdao University, China. She has been listed among the top 2% of scientists in the world as suggested by a study conducted by Stanford, and esteemed among the Best Chemistry Scientists in the world by Research.com.She earned her Ph.D in Chemistry from Tsinghua University in China. Dr. Gao is one of the pioneers in the UK in developing filler enhanced polymer nanocomposites. His current research covers a wide range of applications through applying nano particles for property enhancement and function creation. These properties include mechanical properties, barrier resistance, fire retardancy, antimicrobial behaviour, electrical breakdown strength, thermal and electrical conduction with applications in food and drink, textiles, aerospace, energy, biomedicine, transport and construction. Dr. Navid Alinejadian holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering with a specialisation in Additive Manufacturing and Electrochemistry. He is an expert in the design and laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) Additive Manufacturing of functional 3D nanocomposite structures, integrating advanced manufacturing techniques with electrochemical energy conversion and storage (EECS) applications. Since 2019, Dr. Alinejadian has led interdisciplinary research at the intersection of Powder Bed Fusion additive manufacturing, 2D nanomaterials (Graphene, Graphene Oxide, and TMDs), electrochemical engineering, and surface science. His current research, situated at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3.0, is directed toward the development of working prototypes that demonstrate scalable, sustainable pathways for the next generation of advanced energy storage systems. A core objective of his work is to accelerate the transition toward greener manufacturing paradigms within Industry 4.0, by embedding electrochemical functionality into structural materials via multi-material AM and in-situ processing of 2D material–reinforced metal matrix composites. Dr. Alinejadian is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher jointly affiliated with the University of Twente (The Netherlands) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), contributing to European initiatives in electrochemical energy storage, nanostructured materials, and advanced manufacturing for sustainable technology deployment.

Zied Souguir is a CEO of FUDZS, where he also leads the innovation division. Dr. Tannenbaum received her B.Sc. in chemistry and physics from the Hebrew University, her M.Sc. in physical chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and her D.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich. Dr. Tannenbaum is currently a full professor in the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, a member of the Stony Brook Cancer Center and a member of the Institute of Gas Innovation and Technology at Stony Brook University in New York. Associate Prof. Miao received his bachelor and doctoral degreesfrom Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2008 and 2015, respectively. Rui Xu is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB). Dr. Elham Faraji is a theoretical and computational physicist specializing in molecular quantum dynamics and quantum technologies. She has work experience as a postdoctoral research assistant at the Research Center Jülich in Germany. She completed a joint Ph.D. thesis in the 34th cycle of the Quantum Technologies program at the University of Naples Federico II and Aix-Marseille University, focusing on ‘Quantum Transport Phenomena in Macromolecules.’ Her doctoral research involved studying charge and energy transfer processes through implementing quantum electron-phonon interactions models inspired by the Davydov and Holstein-Fröhlich models, as well as quantum information processing along macromolecules. Since 2000, I have been engaged in hair-related design, gaining extensive experience in hair extensions, wigs, and hair enhancement procedures, particularly in the field of hair loss solutions. After 10 years of research, I successfully resolved the chronic issue of tangling in wigs and hair extensions. I developed a revolutionary special coating?the first of its kind globally?that prevents human hair from tangling and transforms it to exhibit the natural luster of real human hair. This innovative coating technology is currently under patent application and is in operation at Hanwoori Wig House and Hanwoori Wig House 5DX Coating Center in Korea.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Junjie He was born in Yunnan, 1986. He obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree from South China University of Technology in 2015, then carried out post - doctoral research at Shenzhen University and was a visiting scholar at the University of Wuppertal in Germany. Dr. Muhammad Sulaman is an Associate Professor at the School of Science, Minzu University of China. Ashish Yadav, PhD Assc. Professor from Shandong University of Technology, China. He obtained a master*s degree in applied physics from India. He got a PhD from the Department of Fisicaat the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Italy 2014. His work focuses on advanced self-assembly-based photonic crystals and plasmonic nanostructures. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor on fabrication methods and developing three-dimensionally ordered high-quality photonic crystal films and their application as optical materials for lasing and devices. He workson multi-direction research, e.g., wearable electronics, sensors, and energy harvesting devices. He is also interested in laser spectroscopic techniques for low-threshold devices.

My journey began at Ferdowsi University in 2016, where I developed a strong foundation in metallurgical and materials science and engineering. Swann Etro holds a Master’s degree in Physics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where he collaborates with the Solid-Liquid Interface Laboratory (Solinano Sigma). His field of research focuses on protective coatings for carbon-based electrodes, with particular attention to supramolecular films for acid resistance. Recently, he worked on the caracterization of fullerene (C₆₀) and porphyrin (H₂TPP) composite layers used to inhibit ion intercalation in highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) in acidic enviroment . His theoretical research activity focuses on two main areas: industrial fiber production for the recyclability of garments, and machine learning techniques for the development of a new approach to the choice of materials for experiments. He currently works as a Data Scientist at Protiviti, where he develops machine learning code to improve data driven solutions.

Barış Çetin graduated from Middle East Technical University (Ankara/Turkey), Mechanical Engineering Department in 2003.After 10 years of experience in automotive industry, he has been working at R&D Center of FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.S.as SME – Advanced Material Technologiessince December 2013. By January 2017, he completed his M.Sc.at Atılım University (Ankara/Turkey), Manufacturing Engineering Department and he received his Ph.D. degree from the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at the same university.He has professional experience in theory of plasticity, terminal ballistics,metal forming processes, mechanical characterization, computational metallurgy, quantitative metallography and Advanced High Strength Steels (AHSS). Professor Omid Mirzaee is a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Semnan University, Iran. He earned his B.Eng. in Materials Engineering-Casting from Isfahan University of Technology in 1998, his M.Eng. from Shiraz University in 2001, and his Ph.D. from Isfahan University of Technology in 2007. Hiroto Ogura is a Master's student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tokai University's Graduate School of Engineering. He conducts advanced research in materials science and hydrogen technology. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Precision Engineering from Tokai University's Faculty of Engineering in 2024, graduating with distinction in materials characterisation and precision measurement techniques. He specialises in hydrogen-metal interactions and phase transformations, particularly hydrogen permeation phenomena and their applications in sustainable energy systems. This pioneering approach combines conventional permeation measurement techniques with novel methodologies to overcome the limitations of traditional single-phase measurement systems. The research aims to establish a comprehensive evaluation framework for characterising new materials with enhanced hydrogen permeability and selectivity properties.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ellouze is full professor in physics, in magnetic, crystallographic field. Member of the International Center of Diffraction Data (ICCD) in metallic and alloys. Vise President now and Former President of the Maghreb Alexander Von Humboldt Alumni. He works in physics at Sfax University Tunisia. Reviewer in some international journals with impact factor. He has more than 150 papers and 3-chapter books, Chairman of 6 international conferences and guided more than 20 Ph. D students and attended more than 50 international Conferences as invited speaker.

Dr. Waris Nawaz Khan is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, Canada. Prior to this, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Alberta, Canada. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member for Discover Mechanical Engineering, a Springer Nature journal. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, with a thesis focused on investigating dissimilar welds for offshore applications. Dr. Khan has developed a novel mineral waste-added welding electrode for offshore drilling risers and oil and gas transportation pipelines. He has published more than 20 research papers in reputed international SCI journals, 12 papers in international conferences, and one book chapter. He is the recipient of the prestigious W.H. Hobart Memorial Award (2024) from the American Welding Society, as well as the Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship (2020) awarded by the Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India. His current research focuses on physical metallurgy as applied to additive manufacturing and energy systems.

Prof. Keon-Soo Jang earned his Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University (USA) in 2015. He began his career at Samsung SDI, where he specialized in plastic compounding. In 2016, he joined the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), focusing on adhesives and epoxy resins for semiconductor packaging. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Suwon. His current research interests include plastic and rubber compounding, adhesive formulation, and heterojunction metal/polymer bilayer composites.

Dr. Subrata Dolui is a researcher at Hiroshima University, Japan and set to join Concordia University, Canada as a postdoctoral fellow from 1st of April. His research focused on the development of responsive smart materials for Biomedical and Energy applications. He earned his PhD from IIT, Bhilai (2024), MSc. from JNU (2019) and B.sc from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara (2017). To date, he is an author/co-author of 16 peer-reviewed publications. He is a co-author of 3 book chapters and co-inventor of 3 patents. He is serving as a reviewer of Polymers for Advanced Technology and ACS Omega. He is an associate member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Premium member of the American Chemical Society.

Sun Ruoheng, Master candidate in Aeronautical Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University, specializes in dynamic mechanical behavior and failure mechanisms of advanced polymeric composites under extreme loading conditions. His current research focuses on elucidating rate-dependent stress relaxation behavior of polymer matrix composites induced by high-energy impact loading. The investigation particularly addresses nonlinear viscoelastic response characteristics during dynamic loading at extreme strain rates (10³–10⁴ s⁻¹), with emphasis on deciphering the dynamic coupling relationships between microstructural evolution mechanisms and energy dissipation characteristics. By integrating dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) techniques, and multiscale numerical simulations, this work systematically explores the governing effects of molecular chain segment relaxation dynamics, interfacial slip effects, and progressive damage accumulation on stress relaxation behavior. The findings provide theoretical foundations for structural design optimization of impact-resistant composite materials in extreme service environments.

Dr.Sachin Kadian is currently Post doctoral Research Scholar in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University, NC, USA. Priortothis, he was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the School of Materials Engineering, Purdue University, USA. He earned his Ph.D.(Major in materials science, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering) from the Indian Institute of TechnologyRoorkee,Indiain2021.DuringhisPh.D.,he was awarded with a very prestigious DST, SERB-Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship (OVDF) supported by Govt. of India C University of Alberta (UofA) to pursue his research at the Department of Electrical C ComputerEngineering,UofA,Canada.HereceivedhisM.Tech.inBiomedicalEngineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra in 2016 and B. Tech. in ElectronicsandCommunicationEngineeringfromtheUIET,Kurukshetra,Indiain2014.He has co-authored over ~60publications in reputed SCI journals, international conferences as well as book chapters and patents. He has received more than 15 prestigious awards, recognitions, fellowships and travel grants such as BME Department Achievement Award at UNCCNCSU, DSTSERB-OVDF Fellowship, Outstanding Research Article, Best Paper Award, Top-cited Article, Three-Minute Thesis(3-MT)Award, etc. His collaborative research work has also been highlighted in several news/magazines including Nature India, Atlas of Science, India Today, Times of India, Republic World, etc. His research interests include the synthesis and characterization of quantum dots (graphene, sulfur, carbon, and zinc oxide), nanomaterials, nanocomposites, additive manufacturing, flexible electronics and their applications in biosensors, photovoltaics, photo catalysis, drug delivery, bioimaging and anti bacterial agents.

Dr.Nitin Saini is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta, specializing in welding metallurgy, materials characterization, and structural integrity assessments. His research focuses on failure analysis and life assessment of service-exposed industrial components, with expertise in mechanical testing, microstructural evaluation, and the reliability of coke drums. He earned his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Welding Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, with his doctoral work centered on heat treatments and hydrogen embrittlement studies of similar and dissimilar welds in 9Cr steel. Dr.Saini has authored over 50 research papers in reputed international SCI journals. He is the co-recipient of the prestigious W.H. Hobart Memorial Award (2024) from the American Welding Society and received the Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship (2019) from the Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India.

Dr. Selcuk Poyraz is an associate professor and head of the textile engineering department at Adiyaman University. He graduated from Auburn University’s polymer and fiber engineering program in 2014. After working at Namik Kemal University from 2015 to 2018, he joined Adiyaman University. In 2021, he became an associate professor and was appointed department head in 2023. Dr. Poyraz has published over 25 papers and presented more than 35 proceedings at conferences. He is married and has two sons.

Dr. Helmut Takahiro Uchida is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tokai University since 2022, with concurrent appointments in the Graduate School of Engineering and the Research Institute of Science and Technology. He earned his doctorate (Dr.rer.nat.) from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 2015, focusing on hydrogen absorption in nanocrystalline-magnesium films, following his Master's (2006) and Bachelor's (2004) degrees from Tohoku University. His research centers on hydrogen-material interactions, particularly hydrogen storage mechanisms and the effects of hydrogen on metals' mechanical properties. His expertise spans several interconnected areas: hydrogen storage alloys for energy applications, fiber-reinforced composite materials, hydrogen permeation and embrittlement in metals, functional thin films, plasma engineering for surface modification, and advanced crystal structure analysis techniques. Dr. Uchida's career at Tokai University progressed from technical staff (2016) at the Micro-Nano Technology Center and TICAR (to be known as Tokai-Nikon imaging center) to Special Lecturer (2017-2020), Full-Time Lecturer (2020-2022), and finally Associate Professor. His professional affiliations reflect his interdisciplinary approach, including memberships in the Applied Physics Society of Japan, the Hydrogen Energy Systems Society of Japan, the Rare Earth Society of Japan, the Society of Advanced Science, the Japan AEM Society, and the Japan Institute of Metals and Materials. His work has implications for hydrogen energy systems and materials performance in hydrogen environments.

Dr. Syed Tawab Shah is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Research Center for Applied Microbiology, Research Organization of Life Science and Environment, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His research interests include the design and synthesis of organic molecules, functionalization of nanoparticles and their biomedical applications, sustainable nanomaterials, high-efficiency multipotent antioxidants, and nano antioxidants. Dr. Shah is also actively involved in the field of sustainable materials, with a particular focus on the development of environmentally friendly nanomaterials. Dr. Shah has contributed to various publications, including studies on biogenic synthesis of metal nanoparticles, nanoantioxidants, and surface functionalization of magnetite nanoparticles.

Hirotaka Irie is currently a Master's student at Tokai University. His research focuses on improving the mechanical properties of fiber composite materials through homogeneous low-energy electron beam irradiation (HLEBI) treatment to modify the interface characteristics. His current work investigates the application of HLEBI to fiber composite materials fabricated using 3D printing technology, exploring factors that enhance mechanical properties and determining optimal irradiation conditions through comprehensive property testing.

Mr. Chenxu Zhang is a master student in the School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research is currently focused on the mechanical behaviour of advanced polymer composites, particularly under high strain-rate loading, and involved loading technique development. The engaged projects include the development of novel carbon-based fillers for elastomeric materials and their experimental/mechanical characterization under dynamic Mullins effects and behaviours.

Taiki SASAJIMA is a master's student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tokai University's Graduate School of Engineering. After graduating from Tokai University's Faculty of Engineering with a degree in Precision Engineering in 2024, he continued his academic pursuits at the graduate level. His research specializes in hydrogen-metal interactions and responsiveness, particularly focusing on volumetric expansion phenomena. SASAJIMA is currently developing "thin-film hydrogen sensors that do not require external power sources." This innovative research aims to create self-sustaining sensor technologies by utilizing the natural reactions between hydrogen and specific metals, with potential applications in safety monitoring and industrial processes.

Hibiki Yagi is currently studying at the Faculty of Engineering at Tokai University. He will go on to the Graduate School of Engineering at Tokai University in April.
